Trend: Amazonia

I posted a while ago on a report that British girls are the most violent in the world. Now come two more data points on the role reversal taking place in the UK.

A recent study shows that young women there are out-drinking men. According to an academic interviewed in the BBC new story:

There are now young women in their late teens and early 20s developing liver damage that in the past was not being seen until the age of 60 or 70.

Meanwhile a story written a little while ago shows there has been a return to traditional values among young men in the UK. The study comissioned by the Army found:

Family values" were uppermost in the surveyed group with 56% saying protecting their family was what defined a real man, followed by self-respect (48%).

Most rejected "celebrity culture" with 51% saying family was the most important influence on their values and beliefs.

I wonder if this trend will spread as quickly as the Arctic Monkeys?

In the UK, women browse before shopping on the web.

By the looks of those, ehem, "young ladies", I definitely feel threatened on the whole manliness deal.

tougher, better drinkers, and taking over schools and soon the internet. whatever. wait, what, amanda bynes used a gilette fusion to pretend to shave her facial hair in She's the Man? don't you dare steal this revolutionary technology combined with a unique idea! if it becomes one of the best a woman can get, we're screwed.

p.s. i never did feel comfortable using secret deodorant. it was actually a little too strong for me.
