GUIdebook have posted full scans of the Mac 39 page insert that originally appeared in the November/December special election issue of Newsweek in 1984. Beating Target by a full 21 years, Apple bought the entire issue's advertising.
Not only is this a great piece of advertising archiving but it's also a godsend to planners who are asked (sometimes daily) to go back to Apple's Mac launch and "give us a mission like that."
It should also put an end to the constant debate about what platform Apple actually launched on. Was it creativity, empowerment, a computer for the rest of us...?
Read on and see.
