I'm not sure what it has to do with this blog either

But some things are just too cool not to share. Some scientists have discovered that the cloaking effect used by Klingons and Predators might actually be possible. It involves a superlens which would absorb light bouncing off an object therefore making it effectively invisible.

the kid in me says "cool"...BUT then the adult asks, "well, who the hell would use this technology?"...the answer is military, espionage, and terror industries. they are the only ones who will afford it, and they would have no great intentions for improving my life with it.

it is here that i recommend that John Connor and his T-100 Terminator from the future come to the past (now) and goto the designing scientist's lab and stop this madness before the dystopic alternate future can happen.

but then doing that will require time travel...so i recommend that these scientists cease this Invisi-Cloak folly and get the brains on Doc Brown's Time-Travelling DeLorean from Back To The Future...afterall, everyone benefits from a time-travelling car, only the terrorists and robot killer droids benefit from Invisi-Cloaking.

let's get our priorities straight, America!
