Credit Suisse vs. Mnels

According to Appleinsider, Credit Suisse has released a report that paints a pretty rosy picture for the iPod market moving forwards. They predict a doubling of the iPod installed base between now and 2009.

On a side note, does anyone else besides me enjoy Mark's commenting on a post about happiness?

I wasn't suggesting that iPods (the device) are in danger, just wonder if the "i" mnemonic, as Aki described it, will become trapped in time like "Atari" or more recently, words like "cyber" or "mega". How far should Apple go to protect the mark?

As for happiness, it's vastly overrated. As I learned from my stoic scandinavian kin, it's better to shoot for "satisfaction". Then, anything beyond that seems like a gift.
