tamsin from fallon london pointed me towards this group of public artists in the UK called greyworld. by "grey", they are referring to the spaces in between the places we go - the grey areas of our everyday lives that we usually don't think too much about. their projects are built to bring a more meaningful experience to these grey areas. amazing ideas, all very heavy in technology but in a way that's very easy to grasp. check them out.
a cool example of their work is depicted in the sketch above - its called World Bench. you sit down, and via a screen that broadcasts from another World Bench, you get to sit down next to someone in another part of the world.
